Step into a story this summer and bring books to life!

Join us for three exciting Summer Story Walks at St James Park, where children, parents and carers can explore the park, discover story characters along the way, and enjoy themed activities inspired by popular children’s books.

These fun, active outdoor sessions also support the National Year of Reading encouraging families to enjoy stories together.

Week 1 – Tuesday 11 August

Come to read Shark in the Park, make your own telescope and help spot hidden characters around the park!

Week 2 – Tuesday 18 August

Read Walking Through the Jungle with us, create jungle binoculars and go on an exciting story adventure.

Week 3 – Tuesday 25 August

Join us to read The Safari Stomp and make animal masks.
